  • Personal Responsibility Slips

Over the first part of the year, we have been discussing being responsible for ourselves and our work as fifth graders need to do. After four weeks of getting used to our routines and regular assignments, the students now will be held accountable for their classwork and homework responsibilities regularly. Starting this week, students that do NOT submit homework when it is due, important items that need to be returned when they are due, or are not prepared for class each day will complete a Personal Responsibility Report slip (AKA "Pink Responsibility Slips"). Students will complete the slips when necessary, then bring them to me to be signed. Then they will take them home to you to be signed. It is the STUDENT'S RESPONSIBILITY to return the Personal Responsibility Slips to me the NEXT school day by 9:00 am. If the student does not return the Personal Responsibility Report to school when it needs to be returned, the student will have silent lunch as a result that day.

If you have any questions, please contact me at jpierce@pgs.k12.va.us. Thank you as always for your support!
